Is collected by bees from meadow flowers and other blooming plants. The colour of flower honey ranges from light yellow to yellowish-brown. It crystallizes sooner or later, depending on the sort of plant from which it was collected. The crystals range in size. Flower honey is tasty as a spread on bread or in pastry and is also suited for making light meat dishes and different drinks. It strengthens the heart and veins.
Dandelion, various species of willow tree and other spring flowers is the first bee pasture available. It mainly depends on the size of the bee colonies and the fickle spring weather. In favourable weather conditions, the bees could start first filling the combs with honey. This type of pasture is also great for strengthening of bee colonies prior to other pastures. I take advantage of this pasture in my home surroundings.
